About rehabilitation and physiotherapy

Our workplace provides diagnosis and treatment to both outpatients and inpatients. In therapy, we focus on diseases of the musculoskeletal system, conditions after injuries and operations, we provide advice on ergonomics and the prevention of joint and vertebrogenic problems, we pay great attention to the provision of quality rehabilitation care for patients who are hospitalized in the inpatient wards of our hospital - LNP and DLP. We design and, as far as possible, prescribe prosthetic and rehabilitation aids, we provide prosthetics services in inpatient wards. For indicated conditions, we recommend spa treatment or a stay in specialized treatment institutes.

As part of interdisciplinary cooperation, we cooperate in the treatment of neurological and internal diseases. We use the available complement, including laboratory, X-ray and CT examinations, and, in case of indications, the possibility of administering analgesic - myorelaxant infusions at the day infusion station, which was opened in our hospital in January 2017.

Our workplace places emphasis on a comprehensive approach to the provision of rehabilitation care for the sick, all of us together aim for the fastest possible recovery and return of patients with disabilities to normal work and private activities, to achieve the most sub-optimal quality of life. To fulfill these goals, we have highly qualified staff, we use modern rehabilitation methods and procedures, we also have high-quality equipment.

• Computer Kinesiology (CK) – computer system for diagnosis and treatment of functional disorders. CK uses the knowledge that the movement system behaves like a screen on which information about the functioning of the entire body is projected. CK diagnoses, evaluates and proposes an effective procedure to eliminate these functional changes. (not covered by health insurance, see price list of services).

Information for patients

- we treat patients upon presentation of a valid and correctly completed FT voucher (issued by a general practitioner or specialist). Some procedured can also be performed for direct payment by the client (see: Price list of services)

- the K and FT vouchers are valid for 7 days

- if you come with a correctly completed voucher marked with the letters FT (it must contain an exact specification of the required treatment) - the physiotherapist will book you directly for therapy

- if you come without a voucher, with an incorrectly completed FT voucher or with a voucher marked with the letter K - an examination by our rehabilitation doctor is first necessary, who will recommend a suitable therapy

- on Thursday, by agreement, the possibility of extending the physiotherapy working hours until 18:00
